3 Epic Winter Travel Destinations

Hi WOO family,


The New Year is approaching, and we are already dreaming of fun outdoor activities we can do in this next season! Today, we wanted to shout out 3 awesome destinations for winter sports.


  • Aspen, Colorado- Aspen is a world-renowned wintertime playground for snow enthusiasts. The picturesque town has four mountains to choose from: Buttermilk, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Aspen Mountain. While there are a ton of activities available, the area is an especially popular for skiing. It is home to some of the most luxurious ski-in, ski-out hotels, including Little Nell, a five-star property with direct access to Aspen Mountain.


         Aspen is a great destination for skiers of all abilities from beginners to the           most advanced!


  • Vancouver, British Columbia- Just outside the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Grouse Mountain offers the chance to glide upon the ice across a huge outdoor skating rink. You can take in spectacular views of the city lights and the snow-covered peaks of the Coast Mountain Range. This is a breathtaking winter wonderland that also offers the chance for skiing and snowboarding on 26 runs for varying levels of experience, as well as take old-fashioned sleigh rides through the snow-covered forests.


  • Grand Lake, Colorado- Grand Lake is considered to be the snowmobile capital of the state, with more than 300 miles of snowmobile terrain and trails available for everyone from beginner to expert. You can even ride a snowmobile through town, right up to the historic boardwalk lined with over 60 charming shops, eateries, bars, and art galleries.


The important think to remember for a safe and comfortable experience is to bring the proper gear. Layering is essential for warmth!
