Camping..Let's Talk About It. (+ An Exciting New Addition!)

Hello again, WOO Family!

With summer being at its peak, (and the need to social distance still being important), camping has really been on our minds. Escaping to the great outdoors and taking in the beautiful scenery all around us can be so healing during this time. (And always!)

You may have noticed a cool new addition to our website.. our new tent stakes!

These super durable 7075 grade aluminum stakes go deep with 7.25 inches of length, for maximum tent stability. They are also easy to spot, with their vibrant red pull cords, making set up and breakdown really quick and simple.

We are so excited to make camping easy and fun for our WOO family! Along with using high-quality stakes, here are a few other tips we have for beginner (or seasoned!) campers:

1.) Know the area – This includes figuring out how forgiving/unforgiving the terrain is. Also, be sure and check the weather forecast (You don't want to get stuck in a heavy downpour while setting up camp!) It is also helpful to check if there are camping facilities such as toilets or showers, nearby.

2.) Be sure you have an alternative plan if your campfire doesn't work out the way you had hoped. You could bring along a small camping stove, or play it safe and pack non-perishable food and drinks.

3.) Lastly, respect the environment and clean up any trash you have before leaving the campsite. We want the surrounding wildlife to stay safe and healthy and we want to leave the campsite nice for the next adventurer!

Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and be safe. We hope you can all get out and enjoy nature this summer, (even if it's just in your own backyard), and we hope our Wise Owl gear can help make it even more enjoyable for you.

Until next time,

Wise Owl Team
